Took a day trip out to Far Rockaway, Long Island with Solid Foundation in March of 2015. It didn't take Travis too long in the cold to stick this backside 180 but took me a little bit to find the composition to complete the shot.

We’ve all been to a Target and seen the big red balls outside the store as a store front protector from rogue cars. When it comes to skating, they’re fun obstacles to take advantage of, that is when no one is around. The best time to avoid crowds and security is at night. Leo Costa and I hit up the local Target to get this shot on discount.

Frank Sinatra park in Hoboken, New Jersey is a picturesque skatepark along the Hudson River. One of the most picturesque tricks to do at a scenic skatepark in an invert in my opinion. Connor Bewighouse was at the park when I arrived and was taking some good runs on the mini ramp and squared up this backside invert with the Big Apple in the background.

Shorty’s DIY park was a staple in the Northern New Jersey skate community until its demise in 2017. Prior to its destruction, Travis Cooper and I made a trip out to the abandoned warehouse and skated around. Here Travis slides a backside tailslide through the rough pocket of a quarter pipe.

Dave Terranova came back from Panama to visit New Jersey in late October for a skate-cation. I picked Dave up in Asbury Park on Friday so we could skate NYC Saturday with Soild Foundation. We skated downtown, LES, and blubba. Dave wanted to check out the pyramid ledges and after throwing himself down it a few times, he stuck this frontside 5-0.

Inside of an abandoned park lunch pavilion in West Milford, New Jersey, Evan Dittig learned frontside nose blunts on a butter box that was built for the spot.

Inside of an abandoned park lunch pavilion in West Milford, New Jersey, Leo Costa climbs the wall on a newly built wallride feature in the PIV. When skating the PIV on a rainy day, water will run in from the entrance and gather at the low point of the floor, forcing you to ollie over the stream to hit the far end of the PIV. Leo had no problem getting speed and getting high on the wall, and low in the puddle.
